This is an entire new magazine design for the SPAS12, LAW, and SAS. As usual, I don't just make replacement parts -- I make re-engineered better parts.
The end that screws on the gun is made from a genuine Franchi polymer extended magazine tube. This tube was shipped on the SPAS and other guns towards the end of the production run. It is not identical to the metal version.
The tube itself is made of rigid woven Carbon Fiber composite. This is the dark material with the beautiful weave visible just below the surface, used on pistol grips and knife handles for its hi-tech look. The tube is silky smooth on the inside and is hard as a rock. If wacked, the factory metal tube would bend or dent and put the gun out of commission, but this tube will be untouched.

It is finished off with a black Delrin end cap. (Note the new cap has changed dimensions below)
It will come in 3 "standard" lengths.
It is made in the same length as the stock Franchi part, which is often
called the "8 round" extension. For details on how many shells it
really holds, see
here. It also comes in +1 and +2 versions which
add around 2.5" and
5" to the original length, which should
add one or two
crimped
end rounds and a bit of space for the longer compacted spring.
